Odd Flyers Privacy Policy
Last updated October 23, 2026
In one sentence
Odd Flyers has no sign-up or login, and your game progress stays on your device. Three kinds of data leave it: ad data, sent to Google AdMob and Unity Ads, which stops if you buy the ad removal; usage data and crash reports sent to Google's Firebase, with nothing that identifies you; and, if you use them, your leaderboard and achievement progress in Game Center or Google Play Games.
This Policy explains how the Odd Flyers app, the flying food game for Android and iOS, handles personal data, in accordance with Brazil'sGeneral Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018) and, for players in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who the controller is
The data controller is Robson Formigao Gomes, CNPJ 36.281.250/0001-94, doing business as Formiga Tech, at Rua Domingos Moyana, 149, Jardim Santa Helena,Jaú/SP, 17204-670, Brazil.
Privacy matters: dpo@formigatech.com. Odd Flyers support: contato@formigatech.com.
2. What stays on your device
Odd Flyers keeps what it needs to pick up where you left off in your device's local storage. None of it is sent to Formiga Tech: we have no game server or database.
- high scores, coins, characters, accessories and unlocked worlds;
- daily missions, achievements and their progress;
- preferences: music and sound effect volume, vibration, controls and language;
- whether the ad removal was purchased;
- a short history of your latest matches, used only on the device to fit the difficulty and goals to the way you play;
- the day you first opened the app and the days you came back.
If you choose to steer by tilting the device, the game reads the accelerometer during the match. That reading is used on the spot and is neither stored nor sent.
This data is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data in the system settings. If your device's automatic backup (iCloud or Google) is on, it may be copied to your own account in those services, under Apple's or Google's rules.
3. What we do not collect
Odd Flyers does not ask for or collect your name, email, phone number, date of birth, precise location (GPS), contacts, photos, microphone or camera. There is no user account or login, and we have no server of our own.
4. Ads (Google AdMob and Unity Ads)
The free version shows Google AdMob ads: a rewarded video you choose to watch to continue a match, double your coins or swap a mission, and an occasional full-screen ad when you leave a match's results. To show and measure these ads, Google acts as the controller of the data it collects and may process, among other things, thedevice's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, advertising ID on Android), the IP address, device and system data, and interactions with the ad.
AdMob also offers each ad slot to Unity Ads, by Unity Technologies, which may show the ad when it bids more for it. For that, the app includes the Unity SDK, and Unity acts as the controller of the data it collects: the advertising identifier, the IP address (from which an approximate location is inferred), an installation identifier, device and system data, performance data, and interactions with the ad.
- In the European Union, the United Kingdom and wherever else the law requires it, the app shows Google's consent form before any ad, and you choose whether to accept personalized ads. You can change that choice at any time in Settings → Privacy, inside the game.
- On iOS, the app shows the system's tracking permission request (ATT). Without your permission, neither Google nor Unity can access the IDFA.
- On Android, you can delete or reset the advertising ID in the device's Google settings.
- Buying the ad removal turns off AdMob and Unity.
Google's processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, and Unity's by the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. In Unity ads, the privacy icon lets you opt out of personalized ads, see the data Unity holds and ask for it to be deleted.
5. Usage, crash and configuration data (Firebase)
Odd Flyers uses three Firebase services from Google, which acts as a processor on behalf of Formiga Tech:
- Google Analytics, to learn how many people play, how many come back on the following days, which screens and worlds they use, and which campaigns brought players in. It receives game events (match start and end, score, coins, world, character, missions, achievements, ads watched), the screen opened, device model, system and app version, language, approximate location (country, region and city, inferred from the IP address) and a random installation identifier;
- Crashlytics, to fix bugs: when the app crashes, it sends a report with the place in the code where the error happened, the device model, the system and app version and the same kind of installation identifier;
- Remote Config, to tune the game without releasing a new version, such as the interval between ads and the balance of goals. With it, some players may get a variation of the game so we can compare which works better; each installation's group is sent along with the usage data.
This data does not identify you: there is no sign-up, and nothing is linked to a name, email or account. We do not use this data to personalize ads: that option is off in the app and in Analytics. Usage data is kept for the period set in Analytics, up to 14 months, and crash reports for up to 90 days. Without internet, the game works the same.
Processing follows the Firebase Data Processing Terms and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Leaderboard and achievements (Game Center and Google Play Games)
The leaderboard and achievements live in Game Center on iPhone and inGoogle Play Games on Android, not in Odd Flyers.
- The app signs in to your Apple or Google games account if it is already on the device. If you decline, the game works the same.
- Your high score, achievement progress and player profile (name and avatar) stay with Apple or Google, under their rules, and are shown to other players on the leaderboard.Odd Flyers does not receive or store your player ID.
- To delete this data, use the platform's games profile: on iPhone, Settings → Game Center; on Android, play.google.com/games/profile.
7. "Remove ads" purchase
Odd Flyers offers a one-time purchase that turns ads off. Payment is handled entirely by theApp Store or Google Play.We do not receive or store payment data: no card number, no address, not even your store email. The app only records, on the device, that the purchase exists. When you restore purchases, the store only tells us whether that purchase exists on the signed-in account.
8. Store ratings
Now and then the app may show the system's rating prompt. Your rating and review go straight to the App Store or Google Play, under their rules; Odd Flyers does not see what you wrote.
9. When you write to us
If you write to one of our email addresses, we process your email address and the content of your message to reply and, where needed, fix the reported problem. We keep these messages only as long as that requires.
10. Legal bases
- Performance of a contract (LGPD art. 7, V; GDPR art. 6(1)(b)): delivering the game, processing the ad removal purchase and recording your leaderboard score and achievements in your games account.
- Consent (LGPD art. 7, I; GDPR art. 6(1)(a)): personalized ads, when you accept them in Google's form or allow tracking on iOS.
- Legitimate interest (LGPD art. 7, IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)): showing non-personalized ads, which fund the free version; measuring the game's usage and crashes with Firebase; and answering your messages.
You can withdraw consent at any time, in Settings → Privacy inside the game or in the system permissions. This does not affect processing that already happened.
11. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell data. The only third parties involved are Google (AdMob, Firebase, Google Play and Google Play Games), Unity Technologies (Unity Ads) and Apple (App Store and Game Center), which may process data outside your country. In those cases the safeguards of LGPD art. 33 apply and, for data from the European Union and the United Kingdom, the standard contractual clauses adopted by these providers. We may also share data when required by law or court order.
12. Children
Odd Flyers is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you are a parent or guardian and believe this has happened, write to dpo@formigatech.com.
13. Security and retention
Data stored on the device relies on the system's own protections: screen lock, encryption and app sandboxing. We keep no copy of it. Data sent to Firebase travels encrypted and is kept for the periods in section 5. No system is 100% secure, but collecting the minimum, with nothing that identifies you, is our main protection.
14. Your rights
You have the right to confirmation and access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion, portability, information about sharing, objection and withdrawal of consent. In practice, in Odd Flyers:
- to delete everything on the device, clear the app's data in the settings or uninstall the game;
- for ads, change your choice in Settings → Privacy inside the game, revoke tracking in the system or buy the ad removal;
- for usage measurement and crash reports, uninstalling the app deletes the installation identifier, and you can object to this measurement through the privacy email;
- for data processed by Google, Unity or Apple as controllers, the request must be made directly to them;
- for any other request, write to dpo@formigatech.com.
You may also complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD)or, in the European Union and the United Kingdom, to the data protection authority of your country.
15. Changes to this Policy
If Odd Flyers changes in a way that affects this Policy, we update this text and the date at the top of the page. Relevant changes also appear in the release notes in the store.
